Job Description

Responsibilities

• Leverage data mining techniques transforming large amounts of data from various sources into a clear and compelling story
• Clearly communicate findings and translate into recommended actions
• Proactively identify areas of opportunity for operational and financial improvement
• Assist in the development & implementation of BI
• Lead the development of business intelligence tools and analytic applications
• Lead the design and build of reporting and dashboards in our BI platform
• Provide technical leadership to team members to help develop and expand their skills

Education/Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics Information technology or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics/report development
• Candidates with an advanced degree and 3+ years relevant analytical or report design experience may be considered.

Requiqed Qualifications:

• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience creating dashboards, charts, graphs for presentations.
• Experience with SQL Server, Teradata, AWS
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of accounting and financial statements
• Experience with statistical software or programming packages
• Experience in the transportation industry a plus
