The Role

The Reconditioning Trainer at Tricolor Holdings is someone with an exceptional ability to assess needs, develop and deliver appropriate training solutions, and build strong working relationships. The individual in this role must be creative, proactive, organized, flexible, and results-oriented, and have a passion for and understanding of the supply chain process. The Reconditioning Trainer will take responsibility for ensuring the location is equipped to deliver the best ownership experience for new and existing employees and stakeholders.

What will you be doing at Tricolor?

• Accountable for the facilitation of in-person and virtual services and reconditioning training programs, delivering technical training courses that equip technicians, administrative staff, and other employees to perform roles safely, efficiently, and to Tricolor’s quality standards.
• Partner with the Training Manager to advise on the development of training in close consultation with Reconditioning Directors and upper management.
• Manage training rooms and ensure they are secure and clean.
• Complete administrative duties including but not limited to End of Week Reports, End of Class Reports, and Expense Reports.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of Tricolor services, tools, platforms, and business processes.
• Partner with the Instructional Designers and the Training Manager, within the Kirkpatrick’s Model process, realizing shared productivity and efficiencies.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging functional practices, educational theories, and technical tools.
• Partner with Training Manager and Stakeholders to identify training and development needs within the location.
• Serve, coach, and mentor new and current employees to enhance core capabilities and ensure continuous process improvement.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Certificate program in Automotive Technology, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
• 4+ years of training and/or in a similar role.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Tech savvy – able to expertly use a full suite of office and learning technologies.
• Business Travel availability up to 70% of the time.
• Valid Passport preferred.
• Strong automotive system repair knowledge and training experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a must.
