Responsibilities: • Install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, vinyl, and linoleum, adhering to manufacturer directives and best industry practices. • Ensure subfloors are correctly leveled, clean, and in good condition prior to installation. • Cut and measure flooring materials to fit designated areas of properties. • Utilize adhesives, nails, staples, or other installation methods as required for every type of flooring. • Diagnose flooring issues such as damage, wear, or water damage. • Restore damaged flooring materials by performing repairs or replacing them when needed. • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, polishing, and resealing, to extend the lifespan of the flooring. • Supply advice about durability, maintenance requirements, and cost-efficiency of different flooring options. • Guarantee flooring installations comply with local safety regulations and building codes. • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and observe safety guidelines to avoid injuries or accidents during installation. • Accurately document materials used, installation practices, and repairs accomplished. • Report any major issues or recommendations to property managers or owners. • Furnish outstanding customer service, responding. Qualifications: • Minimum of two years of experience in all types of floor installation is required. • Possesses proven experience in the operations. • Knowledge of safety protocols when operating equipment is a must. • Must hold a valid Driver's Licence, as it is necessary for the completion of the essential duties of this role (including visiting different Tzadik properties to complete floor installations). • Necessity to have one's own set of floor installation tools. • Ability to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as communicate by talking and hearing. • Ability to carry out physical activities such as reaching with hands and arms, standing, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. • Must be able to work outside in any type of weather. • An aptitude for regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Compensation: $20 - $28 hourly
