The Shipping Office Clerk is responsible for coordinating all packing functions relating to parcel movement out of the warehouse, maintaining prescribed service levels and quality assurance while keeping costs at a minimum, to ensure meeting departmental, company, and customer objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Interacts with employees, other department leads, and all Supervisors to ensure utilization and performance levels are met.
- Interact with customer service.
- Tracking and billing of warehouse miscellaneous activities.
- PO Entry
- Routing guide ownership.
- Outbound order reconciliation.
- Ensure sufficient amounts of inventory supplies are purchased and maintained.
- Maintains and reports all OF cost per line metrics.
Required Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- A comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations is necessary.
- Must be PC literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be a strong team player with a firm, personal commitment toward the business and its customers.

Required Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Degree or GED a minimum.
- Five years of similar experience.
