    Foundation and Community Coordinator Vegas Golden Knights - Las Vegas, NV 89135 Position Overview: Candidate will play an intricate role in supporting the Vegas Golden Knights community initiatives as well as Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.Responsibilities include coordinating the day-to-day operations, as well as the community programming and events for the Vegas Golden Knights and Vegas Golden Knights Foundation. Responsibilities: Assist with Vegas Golden Knights Foundation game night activations, including but not limited to: o Any auction preparation, execution and customer follow-up, as requested. o Assist with post-game autograph sessions as needed. o Vegas Golden Knights in-arena and special community events. o Foundation tabling on concourse. o Participating in charitable projects (i.e. food drive, toy drive, special presentations). Oversee administrative needs pertaining to Vegas Golden Knights Foundation including but not limited to: o Create, edit, and proofread official documents and/or correspondences. o Assist in the collaboration and design of fundraising tools. o Keep both the Foundation and community portion of teams website and social media channels updated. o Monitor Foundation email address and requests. Assist Marketing Manager with organizing and executing initiatives for the Vegas Golden Knights & its players. Duties will include the following: o Assist with Golden Knights player appearances at events. o Creating memos for player appearances. o Coordinate with all departments on player autograph and programming needs. o Work with Marketing Manager on organizing front office community initiatives. * Tracking, organizing, and fulfilling charitable donation requests. * Work and collaborate with other local and National Hockey League non-profits under the Foundations five giving pillars. * Assist with planning and running of large scale events (i.e. Gala, Golf Tournament). * Report all program expenses including day to day transactions and monthly reconciliation. * Support the continuing mission of the Vegas Golden Knights and its Foundation to service our community. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 1-2 years of sports industry experience. * Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with internal and external constituents. * Charity & non-profit work experience a plus. * High level of initiative and inner drive. * Ability to adapt, learn and grow with team approach and philosophy. * Must have excellent problem solving skills. * Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment. * Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. * Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
