  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Configure and support the company’s physical computer infrastructure
    • Oversight of computer purchase,  PO process, and inventory management
    • Ensure computer builds to conform to industry standards and adheres to company policies
    • Provide day-to-day support of all computer hardware and respective software applications used by company personnel and their customers
    • Help define and document internal standards, configuration, and recovery processes for computers and associated operating and application software
    • Ensure timely and accurate service levels are maintained at all times
    • Must be a self-starter, comfortable working independently and/or in a team environment
    • Must be able to sustain a high rate of effort while working on multiple initiatives simultaneously
    • Monitor, identify, assess and tune application software and hardware infrastructure as deemed necessary
    • Able to assess the root cause of logical and/or physical software/hardware issues and ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to resolve complex problems
    • Supports and troubleshoots printer, scanner, and copier issues with remote customers.
    • Some travel may be expected
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

    • 1-3 years demonstrated overall experience
    • Solid understanding of personal computing architectures; inclusive of the operating system, software configuration, and support of physical and virtual desktop environments
    • Demonstrates experience building, configuring, and supporting Microsoft platforms is a MUST
    • Versed in supporting standard Operating systems (Windows)
    • Strong knowledge of PC troubleshooting; inclusive of software, network connectivity, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair
    • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Active Directory accounts
    • General understanding of networking communication architecture including Switch, Firewall, and VOIP configurations
    • Well versed with backup, anti-virus protection, and desktop/server monitor software applications
    • Must have strong communication skills, be well organized and adaptable to changing priorities
    • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and problem research/solving skills
    • Two to four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
    • SharePoint knowledge is a plus
    • INTUNE knowledge is a plus
    • Powershell knowledge is a plus
