    Event and Sponsorships Manager, Rock Row (based in Westbrook, Maine)

    • This is a temporary position - 8 months

    We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event and Marketing Manager to join our team at Rock Row. As the Event and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all events and supporting the Rock Row marketing director with overall Rock Row marketing duties.

    Responsibilities:

    Events

    o Run of Show: Ensure that events run smoothly and on schedule by overseeing all aspects of the event, from setup to breakdown.

    o Event Notifications: Manage communication and notifications for all events, including seasonal events and third-party events.

    o Event Layouts: Work with tenants and third-party vendors to create event layouts that maximize space and flow.

    o Event Logistics Meetings: Organize and conduct meetings with tenants, vendors, and staff to discuss event logistics and ensure that everyone is on the same page.

    o Event Recaps: Document and analyze each event to identify areas for improvement and optimize future events.

    o Budget Management: Develop, track, and manage event budgets to ensure that events are cost-effective and within budget constraints.

    o Third-party vendors: Identify and coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure that all aspects of the event are covered.

    o Vendor Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with property vendors such as housekeeping, parking, and security to ensure that all event logistics are accounted for.

    o Equipment Management: Maintain inventory for all event-related items and place new orders when items are damaged or need to be reordered.

    o Tenant Involvement: Work with tenants to develop new events and coordinate logistics for all events.

    o Venue rentals: Identify and coordinate 3rd party venue rental sales and logistics.

    o Signage Coordination: Coordinate event signage and ensure that all necessary signs are in place and visible.

    o City and permit Coordination: Collaborate with local government and city officials to ensure compliance with regulations via their permitting process and coordinate event logistics. Sponsorships

    o Strategize Rock Row’s sponsorship initiatives and work with 3rd party vendor for sponsor outreach.

    o Create and own sponsor decks for Rock Row and NH properties, as needed.

    o Ideate sponsorship packages and ways to offset event expenses for proposed programming.

    o Agendas, action items and note taking: Track and organize meeting notes, distribute to all parties and track deliverables.

    o Manage events calendar sharing with sponsors.

    o Facilitate and execute the Rockstarter Kit B2B referral program at Rock Row.

    o Work with leasing to identify sponsorship opportunities with prospective and existing tenants.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, preferably in a multi-use development or similar environment.

    • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of sponsorship experience.

    • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with tenants, vendors, and staff.

    • Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and handle permits and regulations.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.

    • Experience with social media platforms and website coordination.

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
