    WMC is hiring a part-time (approximately 24 hours/week) IT Help Desk Associate! Ideal for someone looking for additional, flexible hours or who is looking to gain experience! WMC offers competitive wages and flexible scheduling! 

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Help Desk Specialist is part of a coordinated user support function that works directly with users to triage, diagnose, fix, and escalate technical issues. The Help Desk Specialist will evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues and escalate them when necessary. This position will also assist the IT Manager with hardware troubleshooting, software support, and other administration tasks.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

    • Primary contact for general technical support calls, emails and support tickets in a non-call center environment
    • Interact with internal customers to resolve help desk technical tickets in a timely fashion
    • Communicate with internal clients and coworkers in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
    • Support remote users via remote desktop software and telephone
    • Create network, email, and various software accounts for new users
    • Assist in installation, preparation, and support of Windows desktops and laptops, mobile devices, office equipment, etc.
    • Promote responsible usage and care of corporate equipment
    • Assist in implementing internal training programs for users

     JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Coursework in IT related field or relevant experience
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems (Windows, Office 365 & Desktop apps)
    • Basic general networking knowledge and experience
    • Experience with Office 365 Administration a plus
    • Exchange server, AD, GPO, Powershell experience a plus
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Must be able to work independently and be responsive to customer/end user requirements
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible in a fast-paced, limited-resource environment
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
    • Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, and professional
    • Spanish language fluency a plus
    • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required for travel to remote offices

    WAGE

    $18-$20/hour DOE
