Wisconsin Management Company (WMC) is hiring a part-time caretaker/custodian for the care of multi-site properties located in Pepin County.

Summary:

As a member of our Maintenance team, the Grounds/Custodian Maintenance Technician is a vital component of our community's day-to-day impression on existing residents and prospective residents. As such, the Grounds/Custodian Maintenance Technician is expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to those listed below.

Ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposing of leaves and refuse, and cleaning up any pet waste in common areas. Also included is sweeping/blowing/cleaning of the parking lots and trash enclosure areas.

• Sweep, blow and power wash areas of the property as needed.
• Maintain flower beds - water/weed.
• Check and replace light bulbs as needed.
• Maintain trash-free property.
• Assists in maintaining swimming pool(s), laundry rooms and other equipment rooms, as applicable.
• Assists in the turn of vacant units into market ready homes
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Snow removal during snow season.
• Assist Property Manager as needed.

Education and/or experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Other skills and abilities : Understanding of horticulture, landscape and basic plumbing, basic electrical and basic mechanical experience.

Certificates, licenses, registrations : Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
