We work directly with Sales, Sales Operations, Strategy and Planning, Account Management, Revenue and Corporate Applications teams to troubleshoot customer inquiries and billing issues and implement process improvements. About the role Zillow Group is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain and improve daily operations. Other responsibilities include: * Respond timely to high volume customer billing inquiries, billing discrepancies, and payment disputes * Work cross-functionally with Revenue, Sales and Ad Operations teams to gather information to resolve billing issues and issue adjustments as needed * Assist with collections on past due customer accounts * Prepare monthly aging reports and metrics for sales and accounting review * Assist with the daily cash application process, ensuring that all cash receipts are accurately applied to customer accounts and reconciled to daily bank transactions * Assist with review of new customer credit checks * Ensure compliance in meeting Sarbanes-Oxley controls and requirements * Assist with retrieval of data/support documents in satisfying various internal and external audit requests * Participate in the month-end GL Close process as requested Who you are * High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred * A foundation in general accounting is highly desirable * 2-3 years of collections/Accounts Receivable experience with high aptitude and drive to effectively communicate with internal and external customers * Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills required * Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently * Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environment * System savvy.
