We have openings for Live-in Mentors to impact the lives of teenagers from across the country at Shelterwood Academy, a Gold Standard Christian Therapeutic Boarding School located on the eastern side of Kansas City, Missouri. 

You will work with a team of over 30 other men and women from across the country.

We hire men and women who have a passion for Christ and a passion to help at-risk teenagers in our Shelterwood program. It's a challenging and also a life-changing year of service.The position starts at $1,000 a month stipend plus free room and board, insurance benefits, and excellent training in our Leadership Development Program. Experience working or volunteering with teenagers is very helpful. An undergraduate or graduate degree is preferred for the full year position.

Shelterwood Academy is a Christian Therapeutic Boarding school for Teenagers committed to restoring families. We hire college graduate men and women to serve for a year mentoring our at-risk youth.
