We offer a very competitive package for a youth ministry summer internship.
Interns will serve in the Junior High ministry to assist parents in the Christian nurture of their sons and daughters through relationships, teaching, and programs.
Interns will serve in the Junior High Ministry to connect uninvolved students to the Student Ministry.
Interns will serve in the Junior High Ministry to help with the transition of rising 6th graders.
Interns may be asked to help with administrative tasks.
Interns will serve as needed and be available at Camp Palmer and VBS, as well as any trips the Junior High or takes during the summer (the Edge, etc).
Interns will have the opportunity to teach either on a Sunday morning, Wednesday night, or lead a summer small group.
Growing in relationship with Christ: practicing spiritual disciplines and bearing fruit.
Being an example in Godliness and grace.
Must have completed their freshman year of college.
Interns must have the ability and desire to relate to junior high students and their parents.
Teachable: willing to learn how to be involved in the spiritual maturity of junior and/or senior high students through relationships, teaching and programs.
Team Player: willing to be a part of serving and loving the IPC staff and volunteer leaders.
Holds to basic reformed theology.
