We have openings for Summer Live-in Mentors (male only) to impact the lives of teenagers from across the country at Shelterwood Academy, a Gold Standard Christian Therapeutic Boarding School located on the eastern side of Kansas City, Missouri.

As a live-in mentor you will serve with other mentors from across the country with our teenagers who are also from across the country.

• Walk through life with the teens each day.
• Assist in our school as an aide at least one day a week
• Go on trips with the youth
• Supervise students at various activities through the day and evening
• Work on a team of 30+ male and female mentors with 50-60 teenagers

• Committed follower of Christ
• At least 21 years of age
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree preferred
• Work well on a team
• Able to work under stressful circumstances
• Teachable

Shelterwood Academy is a Christian Therapeutic Boarding school for Teenagers committed to restoring families. We hire college graduate men and women to serve for a year mentoring our at-risk youth.
