Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Performance Bonus

Executive Overview
Northpoint Roofing Systems is seeking a results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize multi-state roofing operations across the Southeast. Reporting directly to the ownership team, this role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, workforce performance, subcontractor management, and customer satisfaction.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on operations leader with a strong foundation in roofing or construction who is ready to step into a high-impact executive role overseeing a growing, multi-location business.
You will lead an organization consisting of 65 employees and 100+ subcontractors, ensuring consistent execution, scalable processes, and strong financial performance across all markets.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations across three states, ensuring consistency in execution, quality, and performance
Develop and implement operational systems to improve efficiency, production output, and profitability
Manage scheduling, job costing, and workflow optimization across all active projects
Standardize processes to create a scalable, repeatable operating model
Team & Workforce Management
Lead and develop 65 internal employees across operations and support functions
Oversee 100+ subcontractors and field crews, ensuring accountability, quality, and productivity
Implement performance metrics and leadership development initiatives
Build a culture of accountability, communication, and operational excellence
Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight
Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure cost control and reliability
Negotiate pricing and contracts to protect margins
Ensure alignment between procurement, scheduling, and field execution
Customer Experience & Client Relations
Drive a high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery
Handle escalated client issues and maintain key relationships
Implement systems to improve communication and project transparency
Financial & Strategic Execution
Partner with ownership to drive revenue growth and margin improvement
Track operational KPIs including job profitability, efficiency, and production metrics
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
Technology & Systems
Utilize and optimize operational platforms including:
AccuLynx (preferred)
Microsoft Office 365
Improve reporting, tracking, and operational visibility across all locations
Qualifications
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in an operations leadership role within roofing, construction, or related field services
Proven experience managing field operations, crews, and subcontractors
Experience working across multiple projects or locations simultaneously
Strong background in vendor management and customer relations
Leadership & Technical Skills
Experience overseeing teams of 50+ employees and subcontractors
Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and production workflows
Ability to operate effectively in both field and office environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Experience with AccuLynx or similar construction/roofing CRM platforms preferred
