  • Responsibilities

    We are currently looking for interns interested in getting out of their comfort zones and traveling abroad on one of our expeditions.

    • Iceland: In this research expedition you will be exploring Reykjavik and the southwest region of Iceland. Researchers will be developing a trail and cultural guide to the most populated region of this island nation.

    • Rarotonga: We are looking for researchers to to help us publish a trail and beach/reef guide to the island of Rarotonga.

    This internship offers you the opportunity to help conduct field research in a remote location with our research team. Follow up research will be conducted remotely from your home or university. Your work will be used in the development of a guide to that region.

    • We are looking for students of all majors. Focus areas include GIS, marine life, oceanography, geology, tourism, economics, natural sciences, travel writing/blogging, anthropology, as well as students interested in the making of a documentary of the expedition.
    • Action Research at expedition destination (8 days).
    • Mobile Research from any location (1-3 months/10 hours per week following field visit)

    Interested in earning college credit? We will work with your university to ensure that you receive 3-6 credits for your contribution to the field guide.
