    About the Role:

    A 100% employee-owned A/E/C firm with over a century of design excellence is looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join its MEP group in Raleigh. You’ll work across disciplines to deliver technical solutions that power commercial, industrial, and institutional projects — all while building toward your PE and making a real community impact.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Design Building Systems: Power, lighting, and fire alarm systems — all coordinated with structural, architectural, and mechanical teams.

    • Use the Tools: Produce and manage documentation using Revit and BIM tools; perform calculations and system analyses.

    • Follow the Codes: Ensure all designs meet NEC and relevant building code standards.

    • Work Across Teams: Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to create integrated, buildable solutions.

    What You Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (electrical focus)

    • 2–5 years of design experience with a consulting, A/E, or A/E/C firm

    • Experience with Revit and BIM workflows

    • Familiarity with NEC and general building codes

    • EIT preferred

    • Working knowledge of SKM, AGI-32, and Microsoft Office

    • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly
