Core Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Architect comprehensive power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems tailored to diverse building topologies.

• Technical Design Mastery: Engineer detailed construction documents, specifications, and system schematics utilizing advanced Revit and AutoCAD workflows.

• Engineering Analytics: Execute rigorous load calculations, equipment sizing, and protective device coordination to ensure peak system performance and safety.

• Multidisciplinary Integration: Lead the technical coordination between mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Code Authority: Serve as the subject matter expert on NEC, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards, ensuring all designs exceed local permitting and safety requirements.

• Field Stewardship: Conduct site assessments and construction phase observations to validate design intent and provide real-time engineering solutions.

• Strategic Collaboration: Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to translate complex project requirements into practical, high-efficiency engineering solutions.

• Leadership & Mentorship: Foster a culture of technical excellence by guiding junior engineers and providing high-level input on material selection and project scheduling.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Experience: Proven track record in MEP consulting or building systems design.

• Software Proficiency: Expert command of Revit and AutoCAD.

• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sustainability: LEED AP accreditation or experience in high-performance/sustainable design.

• Project Leadership: Demonstrated interest or experience in transitioning into a Project Management or Department Lead role.

• Regional Expertise: Familiarity with Florida building codes and high-end coastal construction requirements.
