Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Design Leadership: Architect and oversee the comprehensive electrical design for large-scale healthcare facilities, ensuring every system meets the rigorous demands of OSHPD (HCAI) standards.

• Infrastructure Mastery: Steer the integration of critical building systems, including complex power distribution, specialized lighting, emergency backup systems, and essential medical equipment infrastructure.

• Team Mentorship & Growth: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of technical growth, high-quality delivery, and professional development.

• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with architects, owners, and contractors to synchronize design timelines, manage budgets, and ensure technical cohesion across all project phases.

• Technical Stewardship: Conduct expert site inspections and provide high-level troubleshooting to maintain the highest benchmarks for safety, sustainability, and system performance.

• Innovation & Sustainability: Champion the use of advanced modeling tools and energy-efficient strategies to deliver forward-thinking engineering solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.

• Experience: 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically dedicated to healthcare facility design.

• Regulatory Expertise: Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of OSHPD (HCAI) compliance and ground-up construction protocols.

• Software Proficiency: Expert command of Revit, AutoCAD, and industry-standard electrical analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sustainable Design: Proven experience implementing LEED or energy-efficiency strategies within complex clinical environments.

• Digital Delivery: Advanced familiarity with BIM coordination and integrated project delivery workflows.
