    Position: Technical Manager

    Location: Orlando, FL

    We Have:

    Luxus+ has partnered with a nationally recognized firm seeking a Technical Manager.  This position has the opportunity for growth and will be responsible for implementing architectural project(s), including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration.

    You Have:

    • 12 years experience
    • Thorough understanding of building construction methods, techniques and applicable codes
    • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup

     

    You Will:

    • Capable of serving as the main point of contact for a project or series of projects with one or several clients.
    • Ensure coordination with engineering disciplines.
    • Oversee the design and production of architectural construction documents and specifications for the projects/programs
    • Maintain Cuhaci & Peterson and/or the client’s standards.
    • Anticipate and resolve issues as they arise.
    • Provide on-going quality control throughout the project.
    • Obtain and perform peer review of documents.
    • Oversee setting up project budget(s) and completing designated scope of work within allotted time.
    • Delegate, review and accept responsibility for work of Project Coordinators and Senior Project Coordinators on the team.
    • Oversee the coordination of the project with Permitting (i.e., issuing, tracking, expediting and responding to jurisdictional comments, etc.).
    • Communicate owner revisions and RFI’s.
    • Assist in representing the client’s interests at public hearings and meetings, as needed.
    • Provide customer service to client in order to maintain relationship.
    • Coordinate the bidding process including contractor qualification, bid document preparation, bid evaluation and assist with contract negotiation.
    • Assist in providing full Construction Administration services (i.e., construction site visits, preparation of field reports, processing change orders, shop drawing review, request for payment form review, gathering lien waivers, warranty information, and project close-out).
