    The Role:

    As a Job Captain, you'll be the linchpin of our architectural endeavors, adeptly translating project designs into technical realities. Your role demands keen judgment, critical thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of architectural principles. Collaborating closely with our Project Manager and senior staff, you'll spearhead the coordination and production of Contract Documents, ensuring seamless project execution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Foster continuous learning and skill development among team members, staying abreast of industry codes, technologies, and materials.
    • Participate in kick-off meetings, meticulously understanding project requirements, design intent, and client expectations.
    • Oversee the development of Contract Documents, meticulously reviewing and refining project details.
    • Monitor document progress, ensuring compliance with office standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate with consultants, facilitate agency reviews, and respond to contractor queries during the bid process.
    • Assist in managing project workflows, assessing staff assignments, and maintaining compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
    • Uphold efficient communication channels and provide support in evaluating support staff performance.

    Requirements:

    • Preferably, possess a Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program.
    • Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in architectural practice, emphasizing construction documentation.
    • Proficiency in CAD/REVIT and other relevant software for Contract Document creation.
    • Sound knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
    • Familiarity with codes and adeptness in navigating the permitting process.
    • Basic understanding of construction contract administration processes.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, vital for project collaboration and documentation.
