Title: Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer (2886)

Location: New York, NY

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to coordinate with MEP and Architectural Trades.
• 5-7 years of relevant design experience.
• PE license.
• Auto CAD proficient.
• BIM/Revit a plus.

• Experience working on high rises in the city.
• Able to complete projects from start to finish with minimum supervision.
• Experience managing staff.
• Working knowledge of NYCPC, NFPA 14, 13, NYC Appendix Q ( 2014, 1968 codes).
• Experience in the design of fire protection systems ( sprinkler, standpipe, fire pumps).
• Experience in hydraulic calculations.
• Experience in design of plumbing systems ( sanitary, vent, hot and cold water systems).
• Medical experience is a plus ( oxygen, vacuum systems).
• Hot water heater selection experience.
• Familiarity with NYCECC code requirements.
• Revit experience required.
• Ability to produce DEP applications.
• Construction Experience ( response to RFIs, submittal review).
