    Position: Architect/ Project Architect

    Location: Orlando, FL

    We Have:

    Luxus+ has partnered with a nationally recognized firm seeking a Project Architect. This position has the opportunity for growth and will be responsible for implementing projects including Design, Construction, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration.

    You Have:

    • 5 years experience in a professional architectural firm.
    • Holds a current architectural license
    • Knowledge and experience in basic building construction methods, techniques and major model codes.

    You Will:

    • Perform research, planning, design, and preparation of construction documents, administration, and inspection of new construction, remodels or renovation projects.
    • Responsible for signing and sealing projects.
    • Assists in initiating and coordinating with engineering disciplines.
    • Oversee the production of construction documents and specifications for multiple projects within varying programs.
    • Maintain Cuhaci & Peterson standards and provide quality control throughout the project.
    • Resolve design issues and answer questions regarding projects.
    • Assist with obtaining peer review of documents and perform peer review quality control reviews.
    • Assist in setting up project time budget and completing designated scope of work within allotted time and budget.
    • Delegate, review and accept responsibility for the work performed by Architectural Technicians and Project Coordinators.
    • Assist with the permitting process, including issuing, tracking, expediting and responding to comments.
    • Assist in evaluating and implementing owner revisions, RFIs and jurisdictional review comments.
    • Assist in representing the client’s interests at public hearings and meetings.
    • Assist with the bidding process including contractor qualification, bid document preparation, answering RFIs, bid evaluation and contract negotiation.
    • Assist in providing full Construction Administration services including construction site visits, preparation of field reports, answering RFIs, processing change orders, shop drawing review, reviewing and approving contractors’ Request for Payment forms, gathering lien waivers and warranty information, and project close-out.
    • Assist with client contact by attending meetings if requested to do so by the Project Manager.
    • Assist with proposal preparation for new and existing projects.
    • Assist with approving future clients for the firm.
    • Mentor, lead and teach.
