  • Responsibilities

    Location: Dallas, TX

     

    Job Title: CAD Technician I

    • Requires an associate’s degree in architectural drafting or the equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
    • Provides basic CAD support to the designers and project managers.
    • Develops plans and designs based on the needs of the client.
    • Responsible for surveying existing spaces, creating as-builts and preparing preliminary plans, pricing plans and construction documents.
    • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
    • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • Requires a high level of supervision.
    • Typically reports to the Team Lead.
    • Review conducted by Team Lead.

     
    Job Title: CAD Technician II

    • Requires an associate’s degree in architectural drafting or the equivalent and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
    • Provides basic CAD support to the designers and project managers.
    • Develops plans and designs based on the needs of the client. Responsible for surveying existing spaces, creating as-builts and preparing preliminary plans, pricing plans and construction documents.

    • Requires an associate’s degree in architectural drafting or the equivalent and 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
    • Provides basic CAD support to the designers and project managers.
    • Develops plans and designs based on the needs of the client. Responsible for surveying existing spaces, creating as-builts and preparing preliminary plans, pricing plans and construction documents.

    • Requires an associate’s degree in architectural drafting or the equivalent and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
    • Provides basic CAD support to the designers and project managers. Develops plans and designs based on the needs of the client.
    • Responsible for surveying existing spaces, creating as-builts and preparing preliminary plans, pricing plans and construction documents.
    • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
    • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • No supervision required.
    • Typically reports to the Team Lead.
    • Reviews conducted by Team Lead.
