    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design process for single-family and residential projects from concept development to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of residential architecture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the design process for single-family and residential projects, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

    Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to translate client requirements and design aspirations into innovative and functional architectural solutions.

    Develop and present design proposals, renderings, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and review boards.

    Conduct site visits, surveys, and analysis to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and zoning requirements.

    Oversee the preparation of construction documents, detailing, and specifications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

    Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in residential design, and integrate them into design projects where appropriate.

    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.

    5+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on single-family and residential projects.

    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.

    Strong conceptual design skills and the ability to develop design concepts from inception to realization.

    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to effectively lead design teams.

    Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction techniques.

    LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.

    Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
