    Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Project Manager

    Location: Seattle, WA

     

    You will:

    • Be the engineer of Record
    • Mechanical Engineering candidates must have a solid understanding of HVAC designs and commercial systems with applications in a variety of projects to include but not limited to: health care, higher education, data centers, mission-critical, and central utility plant experience.
    • Electrical candidates must have the same pertaining to electrical design and control systems as applied to the entire design.
    • Project Management
      • Responsible for the Communication necessary with all parties to ensure a successful project.
      • Directly or indirectly involved in writing the Proposal and Fee.
      • Responsible for direct and regular interaction with the Client.
      • Have a solid understanding of the scope of the work to be performed.
      • Work directly with Projecting Accountants / Accounting to ensure that a profitable project is achieved.
      • Coordination and management of the Team and any others involved in the project.
      • Ensure the Team has the necessary tools and receives regular and timely information to produce a successful project.
      • Main point of contact for the Project.
      • In-depth knowledge of the financial aspect of the project to ensure financial success of the project.
      • Responsible for delivering an end project that satisfies the Client.
      • Work directly with the Principal in Charge throughout the project to ensure the success of the project.
    • Proven leadership experience and managerial experience are a must.
    • Knowledge and experience must include using software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS Office to perform complex calculations, proficiency in Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards, superior client-facing/client relationship/client management skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Leads assigned project teams as they perform their tasks and participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
    • Lead marketing and business development efforts of new and existing clientele.
    • Participate in activities and organizations related to our industry outside of daily business routine, developing peer relationships, technical growth, and business contacts.

     

    You have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field is required.
    • Followed by 15-20+ years of previous experience within the AEC industry with a consulting engineering or A/E firm, to include marketing and business development.
    • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
    • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
    • WELL Certification is a plus.
