    Title: Experienced Bookkeeper with Architecture/Construction Industry Background Needed in Denver, CO

     

    **Responsibilities:**

     

    1\. **Financial Records Management:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

     

    2\. **Payroll Processing:** Oversee payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee compensation, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.

     

    3\. **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.

     

    4\. **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

     

    5\. **Tax Compliance:** Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

     

    6\. **Expense Management:** Monitor and control expenses by reviewing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursement requests to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

     

    7\. **Financial Analysis:** Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management based on findings.

     

    8\. **Ad Hoc Projects:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, system implementations, and financial audits.

     

    **Qualifications:**

     

    1\. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

    2\. Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

    3\. Experience working in the architecture or construction industry is preferred.

    4\. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

    5\. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

    6\. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    7\. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

    8\. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

    9\. CPA certification or eligibility is a plus.
