EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in TX, with multi-state licensure considered a plus
• LEED Certification preferred
• 5+ years of engineering consulting experience, including client interaction and project management
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical building codes and construction standards
• Strong understanding of DDC controls and controls design
• Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and Energy Modeling
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex problems and exploring collaborative solutions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize innovative HVAC layouts
• Generate design drawings and specifications for MEP equipment and systems
• Conduct calculations to bolster system designs
• Coordinate detailed project phases efficiently
• Participate in site visits, drafting meeting minutes, and preparing site observation reports
• Oversee construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, addressing RFIs, and attending meetings
• Fulfill additional assigned duties as needed
