What You’ll Do As a Mechanical Designer/Drafter, you will be at the heart of our design and documentation process. You'll collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to create precise, coordinated mechanical drawings that serve as the backbone of our projects.
Core Responsibilities: Produce detailed HVAC and plumbing system drawings using AutoCAD and Revit in accordance with project standards and codes.
Assemble complete drawing sets, including mechanical plans, details, schedules, and sections.
Support engineers and project managers in reviewing and coordinating design intent across all disciplines (MEP, structural, and architectural).
Track and implement drawing revisions throughout design and construction phases.
Participate in design team coordination meetings and contribute to solutions for complex design and installation challenges. Maintain internal drawing standards and assist in the continual improvement of documentation workflows.
Organize submittal packages and finalize drawing sets for permitting and construction.
What You Bring Experience: Minimum of 4 years in mechanical drafting/design within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit are mandatory; experience with Navisworks, BIM 360, or clash detection tools is a plus.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, hydronic piping, ventilation, plumbing), building systems integration, and code compliance.
Project Exposure: Prior experience working on hospitality, hotel, or high-end commercial projects is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Detail-driven, organized, and proactive, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
