    About the Role:

    An established Florida-based MEP consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager with hands-on HVAC design experience and the leadership skills to drive commercial and healthcare projects from kickoff through construction.

    This role blends technical design work with client-facing project management. You'll be a key player in a collaborative team, owning your work and relationships from start to finish — and helping shape sustainable, high-performance building systems along the way.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Design HVAC Systems: Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and layout design for commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities.

    • Manage Projects: Lead design efforts and coordinate project milestones, schedules, and documentation across disciplines.

    • Oversee Documentation: Produce construction drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and code compliance.

    • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work directly with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to deliver on time and on budget.

    • Support Client Development: Build and maintain strong relationships that foster repeat business and referrals.

    What You Bring:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)

    • 5+ years of HVAC design experience in commercial and/or healthcare sectors

    • Experience managing projects or serving as a key project coordinator

    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must

    • Knowledge of DX, chilled water, pumps, cooling towers, and related systems

    • Familiarity with applicable design codes and standards

    • EIT preferred (PE track a plus)
