    Project Manager (PE) – Civil Infrastructure | North Austin, TX

    We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with 5–8+ years of civil engineering experience to join our growing North Austin office in a leadership capacity. This is a strategic role with a well-established, locally owned firm offering the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects, manage clients, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

    This is an ideal position for a motivated engineer who still enjoys hands-on design work but is ready to step fully into project and people management responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule adherence, and budget performance.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and sub-consultants.

    • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on design execution and professional development.

    • Coordinate and oversee planning, analysis, permitting, and design efforts for a variety of infrastructure projects.

    • Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

    • Contribute to client development, proposal preparation, and project forecasting as needed.

    Project Types Include
    • Water and wastewater utilities (distribution and collection systems)

    • Pump stations and lift stations

    • Drainage and stormwater management

    • Watershed planning

    • Roadway and utility coordination

    • Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling

    • Dam analysis and design

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); Master’s degree a plus

    • Licensed PE in Texas

    • Minimum of 5–8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience

    • Demonstrated experience managing civil infrastructure projects and leading small teams

    • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, and InfoWorks ICM

    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
