    Position Overview

    Flexible Schedule: This position offers a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, with start times between 6–9am and end times between 3–6pm, depending on your start time (a full 8-hour day must be worked). Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm — flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
    On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at the corporate office during office hours.

    Compensation Package
    $120,000 – $130,000 / Year
    The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate’s experience and the geographical location of this position.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 12+ years of professional experience in architectural design

    • 7+ years of experience designing large-scale multifamily projects

    • 5+ years of experience managing a project team

    • 7+ years of professional Revit experience

    • Bachelor or master’s degree in Architecture or related field

    • Licensed architect in one of the 50 states (financial support provided for obtaining reciprocity in Washington)

    • Strong proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, or similar tools

    • In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to multifamily design

    • Ability to balance design aesthetics with technical functionality and constructability

    • Understanding of sustainable design principles and commitment to environmentally responsible projects

    Your Role

    Operational Tasks

    • Discuss building and zoning code issues with project teams, addressing ambiguous areas and interpreting intent

    • Contribute creative ideas, details, and solutions from prior experience and current research

    • Prepare and participate in design presentations to project teams and leadership

    • Produce high-quality construction documents using Revit/BIM systems and explore advanced capabilities

    • Manage access to original drawings and architectural files

    • Base construction drawings on approved site and floor plans, ensuring adherence to codes and schedules

    • Research and summarize local and state zoning codes for team and ownership

    • Coordinate preliminary site plans from owner-provided criteria, accounting for site conditions and jurisdictional standards

    • Review grading and drainage plans for compliance with established requirements

    • Attend coordination meetings, neighborhood/public hearings, and other project-related events as needed

    • Oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects, potentially working on multiple teams simultaneously

    • Demonstrate efficiency and ability to work with minimal oversight

    Administrative Support

    • Lead assigned projects while ensuring adherence to standards and procedures

    • Perform site observations during construction and document conformance with contract documents

    • Prepare and review scopes of work and consultant proposals

    • Provide weekly reports and promptly address project issues

    • Coordinate and respond to RFIs, submittals, and change orders in a timely manner

    • Collaborate with leadership to review, establish, and update design standards

    Communication & Coordination

    • Coordinate with external consultants, local authorities, engineers, and surveyors

    • Serve as the primary contact for consultants as directed

    Quality Assurance

    • Monitor consultant work to ensure timely completion and compliance with requirements, including ADA standards

    • Conduct quality control reviews of plans and drawings prior to distribution or permitting

    • Assist in developing new design standards and best practices

    Other Responsibilities

    • Promote teamwork internally and externally to ensure project deadlines are met

    • Represent the company professionally at all times

    • Maintain punctuality and actively manage schedules and priorities

    • Train and mentor junior architects and designers
