    Position Overview

    Our client, a growing architecture and development organization specializing in hospitality projects, is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead the architectural documentation and coordination of new and existing hotel developments.

    This role is ideal for an experienced architect with 10+ years of progressive architectural experience who thrives in a leadership position and enjoys guiding projects from early site planning through construction completion. The successful candidate will oversee the production of architectural documentation, collaborate closely with consultants and contractors, and ensure high-quality project delivery across all phases.

    This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of project execution, mentor internal team members, and serve as a key liaison between design teams, consultants, and construction partners while supporting the successful development of hospitality projects nationwide.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead architectural design and documentation for new construction and renovation hotel projects.

    Oversee project development through all phases, including site planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

    Manage project schedules and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met through effective coordination with internal teams and consultants.

    Translate design concepts into clear construction documentation, including drawings and specifications.

    Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

    Serve as the primary liaison between the design team, consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies.

    Provide construction administration support, including shop drawing review, site visits, field issue resolution, and quality control.

    Evaluate new materials, systems, and energy-efficient strategies to enhance building performance and project value.

    Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and life safety regulations.

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

    Minimum 10 years of progressive architectural experience in a similar role.

    Valid Architectural License.

    Strong experience leading architectural projects through design and construction phases.

    Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

    Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and life safety regulations.

    Experience producing and managing construction documents and specifications.

    Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants.

    Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working on hospitality or hotel development projects.

    Familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or other visualization software.

    Experience coordinating large project teams and managing complex project schedules.

    Experience supporting construction administration and field coordination.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary range $100,000 – $140,000 depending on experience

    Performance bonus up to approximately four weeks of salary
