Senior Project Architect / Project Manager – Industrial & Healthcare Projects

Salary Range: $105,000 – $137,500 annually (DOE)
Total Compensation Package: $120,000 – $150,000+ (including benefits and retirement)

About the Role

We are seeking a North Carolina Licensed Architect (NCARB certification preferred) with 10+ years of professional experience to join our Charlotte office as a Senior Project Architect/Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Industrial project types and exposure to Healthcare design, with the ability to independently lead projects, manage client relationships, and guide small teams through all phases of design and construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee architectural projects from concept through construction administration.

• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants to ensure design excellence and timely delivery.

• Mentor and manage junior architects and designers, fostering professional growth.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.

• Develop and review design and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

• Manage client relationships with clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Architect in North Carolina (required); NCARB certification preferred.

• Experience: 10+ years of architectural practice, with significant industrial project expertise and some exposure to healthcare design.

• Technical Proficiency: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp (required).

• Knowledge: Building codes, zoning laws, construction processes.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead projects, manage small teams, and oversee projects independently.
