Senior Structural Engineer (PE) – Multi-Family Buildings

Salary Range: $121,000 – $154,000 annually (DOE)
Total Compensation Package: $135,000 – $175,000+ (including benefits, bonuses, and relocation options)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (PE) with deep expertise in multi-family buildings and multi-level structures to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Lead the structural design and analysis of multi-family residential buildings and other complex structures.
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and developers to create efficient, cost-effective designs.
Apply expertise in post-tensioned concrete systems to optimize performance and durability.
Incorporate seismic and wind design principles to ensure compliance and safety.
Review, approve, and stamp structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers and design staff.
Oversee quality control and participate in project delivery from design through construction administration.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
License: Active Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
Experience: 5–20 years of structural engineering experience, with emphasis on multi-family housing and apartment buildings.
Technical Expertise:
Structural steel, wood-framed construction, elevated slabs, and post-tensioned concrete.
Seismic and wind design in high-load regions.
Foundation design for expansive soils.
Familiarity with current codes, standards, and industry software.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
