Sr. Electrical Project Engineer (On - Site)

About the Role

This role involves managing electrical engineering projects from design through construction administration. The successful candidate will serve as the Engineer of Record and act as a primary point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring project quality and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement engineering projects including construction documents, coordination, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
• Maintain a high level of quality assurance and control throughout the project
• Research and integrate the latest design practices
• Collaborate with project architects and managers regarding design scope, schedule, budget, and site issues
• Estimate discipline man-hours required for project design
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned projects
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines
• Oversee the design and production of engineering construction documents and specifications
• Maintain Cuhaci & Peterson or client standards
• Anticipate and resolve technical issues
• Perform and obtain peer reviews of documents
• Manage project budgets and scope completion within allotted time
• Communicate owner revisions and requests for information
• Represent client interests at public hearings and meetings
• Provide customer service to clients
• Mentor and train engineering designers

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of work experience as a licensed engineer
• Licensed PE status
• Engineer of Record in several states
• Knowledge of Revit and AutoCad
• Proficiency in engineering modeling tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
