About the Role
A leading architecture, engineering, and construction firm is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join its growing structural engineering team. This role is responsible for the planning, control, and integration of engineering activities, as well as the development of project deliverables to ensure project success.
The Structural Project Engineer will perform BIM modeling, calculations, research, and structural analysis, while coordinating with other design disciplines to produce plans, specifications, and reports. This position requires strong technical knowledge, familiarity with model building codes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop and coordinate BIM models for structural systems
Perform structural calculations, research, and analysis
Produce plans, specifications, reports, and other technical deliverables
Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure coordination across disciplines
Review and interpret construction documents and model building codes
Manage project deliverables to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Provide input and solutions for technical challenges during the design process
What You Bring
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
3–7 years of experience in a consulting engineering environment
Proficiency in Revit Structure and working knowledge of BIM workflows
Experience with analysis software such as Robot, RISA-3D, RAM, SAP 2000, and CONCEPT
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Understanding of how structural design integrates with other building systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
