Our IDEA Global Internship Program

Our IDEA Global Internship Program is a full-time paid internship for approximately 12 weeks starting in or around June 2023. Interns will receive support, coaching and mentorship, gain practical work experience, and develop new skills to expand their career possibilities. 

Through the course of the program, we’ve designed a variety of exciting, fun and thoughtful sessions and experiences. There will also be opportunities to connect, collaborate and build relationships with interns across the globe. All interns follow two tracks of learning: the in-depth learning and skillset relevant to their role and the broad breadth knowledge of our business operations. Our IDEA Global Internship Program curates a journey for each intern to discover where their passions lie and helps them lay out their career path.

About this team

Cloud Security Engineering: Is a proactive security organization that sits within Global Infrastructure on the Cloud Platform. The organization is missioned to scan for and monitor for security expectations within the Cloud. Working in partnership with LLL Security & GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) on what good security is, policies should be, and alert on violations and anomalies against expected / required security (configurations).

A day in the life 

All of our interns play an important role in our business and are key members of the team. Some of the tasks, roles and responsibilities include: 

• Supporting current strategies and portfolios of work

• Working with cross-functional partners to gain alignment on strategic projects

• Supporting in the day-to-day management of building out solutions for key projects and/or programs

• Participating in several meetings and conversations pertaining to key areas of your work

Nice to haves

 Must haves

• Interested and/or familiar with Cloud Security best practices from having worked studied or worked within a systems admin role or logical access control.

• Has worked/been educated in security engineering capacity that leverages cloud infrastructure from AWS, Google, Oracle, and Azure.

• Has worked/been educated in data visualization platforms like Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and Jira Reports.

• Can formulate datasets and/or dashboarding from systems logs. Ability to work autonomously and dive into needed research.

• Comfort with handling multiple data warehouse enviroments and be able to synthesize trends and security "So What" justifications for general business partners.

• Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life. 

• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.  

• Communicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same.

Compensation and Benefits Package

For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $75,000 - $80,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
