    TEMPORARY POSITION: 

    We are looking for a seasonal merchandiser to prepare and reset our store for the holiday season. (Candidate may have opportunity to be hired on as a permanent position)

    OVERVIEW:

    A Merchandiser/Stocker is responsible for making sure that consumers have access to the merchandise they are looking for by organizing product displays and storage. Their duties include counting inventory, adding price tags to items and putting products on shelves according to an organized system. They will stock merchandise according to company planograms. The ideal candidates will partner with the store management on creating, building and maintaining displays.

    WHAT MIGHT YOU DO?

    Primary focus will be stocking and merchandising the cold vault.

    Manage and maintain the storage conditions of goods received in the store.

    Coordinate retail space activities, dispose of trash and manage the cleanliness of the store.

    Provide customer service since they work in a visible space on the floor while arranging merchandise.

    Stock the shelves of the sales floor with goods and keep inventory.

    Receive merchandise that comes into the store and ensure that the merchandise is unloaded and stored according to established procedure.

    Maintain the cleanliness of the store and enhance the appearance of the store by adopting the most appropriate display techniques.

    Making sure all product has shelf tags with pricing. 

    THESE ARE THE BASIC DUTIES OF THIS POSITION BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    While physical requirements for store employees may change depending on your franchisee, the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 1-5 lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 40 -50 lbs.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week

    Candidates that can work split shifts will be a plus.
