The selected intern will assist the team in developing and implementing marketing strategies as well as provide creative ideas to help achieve our marketing goals! As an intern, you will collaborate with all members of the marketing team and have the opportunity to work with other departments at Team Headquarters. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter a fast-paced work environment. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. -Responsibilities/Duties -Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks. -Help organize, maintain and distribute marketing materials. -Prepare marketing/sales presentations for various departments. -Write creative briefs and assist in the development of marketing collateral. -Assist with all events for stores, team headquarters, and customers. -Required Skills -Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. -Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms. -Solid understanding of different marketing techniques. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Excellent knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint. -Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices. -Current enrollment in a related Marketing, Communications or Business degree. -84 Lumber Company is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
