Training Specialist The Job The Training Specialist supports learning and development within the Ace Hardware organization, by using multiple training and development methodologies, including instructor led and e-learning through a learning management system (LMS). What youll do * Support the effective delivery of e-learning using our Learning Management System (LMS). * Use survey tools and reporting tools to measure effectiveness of training and eLearning. * Make access and learning easy by designing and maintaining Learning Management Systems corporate page, creating and promoting learning toolkits * Develop and deliver sustainment activities such as pre/post learning prompts * Plan, promote, set up and ensure excellence in the delivery of training * Deliver instructor led training and webinars for employees * Support Aces performance management process through learning and development * Support alignment of onboarding initiative throughout Ace What you need to succeed * Bachelors Degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related required OR a combination of education and commensurate experience * 2-4 years of experience in training and development required * Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships throughout the organization to get results * Background in training and organizational development including knowledge of adult learning principles * Data management experience - use data to create reports, evaluate and improve results of L&D activities * Strong time management, organization and planning skills * Experience in survey development, administration, and analysis * Knowledge of performance management or talent management practices * Experience with Learning Management System platforms (SumTotal, Cornerstone or SABA a plus) * Experience using content design software (Captivate or Articulate) is plus * Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) We want to hear from you!
