    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Administrative Assistant acts as the initial point of contact for NAPA's central office. A person in this position is responsible for greeting and interacting with customers and vendors who come into the office, and coordinating communication with various NAPA stores.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Establish and maintain good relationships with NAPA customers, vendors, and Store Managers.

    Answer phones, route calls and answer basic inquiries.

    Open and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.

    Create and maintain accurate files.

    Assist store managers and employees with incoming questions.

    Input data and generate reports under direction from the Accounting Manager.

    Assist with elements of collections – research, data gathering and reporting.

    Assist and support administrative staff.

    Protect Dyna Parts by keeping information confidential.

    Help ensure the Central Office and Reception Area are kept neat and organized.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Valid Driver’s License preferred.

    Previous administrative or accounting experience preferred.

    High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.

    Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and aurally) and remembering their sequence.

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 40 pounds.

    Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary.

    Ability to sit for entire work shift.

    Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
