You will enjoy building your technical skills as you learn from top subject matter experts and industry thought leaders. · Have experience working with the Federal Government, innovating to solve problems and enabling mission readiness and success · Are able to be mobile and travel for projects. · Have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. -BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · This apprenticeship opportunity is for U.S. citizens who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces including Reserves and National Guard. · Undergraduate or graduate technical degree required in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field OR an Associates Degree in a technical field + 4 years hands on technical work experience. · 0-5 years design, implementation or consulting experience with distributed software applications and architectures. · High level of skill communicating effectively across internal and external organizations · Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly · Up to 50% travel · This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance. -PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Practical Federal Government project delivery experience · AWS certification within six months of hire · Demonstrable experience in running complex projects · Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure · Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organization Amazon.com is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer.
