JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer in Test - I JOB DUTIES: Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will perform small to medium size technical tasks with lower level of complexity or may be involved in phases of a larger project. You will generally follow established/documented approaches to issues & problems. This position works as a member of the Quality Assurance team. The incumbent will be testing our B2B application. This is the self service portal our corporate clients use. Tests web applications to establish functionality and effectiveness. Determine what modifications are needed after testing. Assists in designing, developing and reviewing test processes. Documents results and observations after inspections and audits. Working knowledge of web applications, cloud, mobility, testing tools, automation tools . Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions. Interprets a variety of technical information. Experience with manual and automated testing concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Precise attention to detail Position is 80% Testing and 20% process including documentation. Incumbent will analyze business requirements, create test plans, write test cases and perform testing on cross browsers. Assist in developing and running test automation scripts. Executes Regression testing, updates manual test cases, documents information to be used and shared as reference material. Evaluates options for meeting user needs, and ensures that system requirements are validated, prioritized and incorporated in an effective, efficient manner. Troubleshoots development and production application problems with supervision and provides technical and production support on an on-call basis. MUST HAVE SKILLS: Working knowledge of information systems concepts Knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions Interprets a variety of technical information DESIRED SKILLS: Knowledge of Selenium Automation framework or similar Automation framework. Knowledge of SQL and database concepts Understanding of End User Experience Concept Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to follow directions EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent major highly preferred.   REQUIRED SHIFT: May required to work 7:30am to 4:30pm. Team will be required to work either in Basking Ridge or Piscataway location.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION)

    MANDATORY:

    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience directly supervising multiple personnel in various trades in performance of facility maintenance (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire detection and suppression systems), Minimum of a general understanding of utility operation and maintenance (electrical, water, natural gas, chilled water, steam, compressed air, sanitary and industrial waste.
    • Knowledge of codes and regulations for facility maintenance and operation and ability to direct crafts persons to compliance.
    • Experience in the requirements of safe operation of maintenance support equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, cutting and welding equipment, and testing equipment.
    • Ability to supervise a multi-craft work force which includes experience in assigning tasks, determining and adjusting priorities, scheduling large work requirements and overseeing a reoccurring maintenance work program.
    • Knowledge of standard contract regulations, practices and procedures.
    • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements as outlined in the applicable standards, regulations and/or technical orders.
    • Knowledge of local, state and federal environmental principles, practices procedures and regulations.
    • Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend accurate, timely, and economical solutions.
    • Knowledge and broad background in construction and maintenance principles, methods and techniques.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
    • Demonstrated skills in using various computer software, including ability to use the Windows operating system as well as common office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Database Management.
    • Current state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary ID/License/Certification.

     PREFERRED:

    • An Associate's of Science or Applied Science from a vocational/trade school, accredited college or university in related field.
    • Previous experience working on a military installation.
    • Previous experience working on and Air Force Installation within the Civil Engineer Operations, Flight, or Squadron.
    • Previous experience working on Tinker Air Force Base facilities.
    • Military experience.
    • Facility Maintenance certification or equivalent.
    • Previous experience using USAF Work Information Management System (IWIMS).
    • Previous experience working within the Federal Government Base Operations and Support Services Arena: Experience in university, industrial, manufacturing or major complex utilities operations and facility maintenance considered.
    • Familiarity with military-specific facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
