    JOB DESCRIPTION

    This position supports stores by effectively allocating store payroll, finding opportunities to gain efficiencies, and analyzing opportunities for investments that best support the customer. Primary responsibilities include creating payroll budgets, analyzing actual payroll use, and reporting on variances. Additionally, this position partners with Home Office teams and the Stores Group to best optimize payroll and drive sales in stores.

  • Qualifications

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create monthly/weekly store payroll budgets
    • Monitor actual payroll usage and drive compliance
    • Investigate and explain budget variances
    • Provide business partners with weekly and monthly variance summaries
    • Special ad-hoc store analysis
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on analysis and insight
    • Develop strong working relationships with the Stores Team, especially the DM group, to support stores and understand the needs of the customer.
    • Develop strong working relationships within the Home Office to ensure collaborative efforts

    Requirements

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Excel
    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to document ideas, workflow, and issue resolution
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Commitment to supporting customer service
    • Prior retail experience is preferred
