    JOB DESCRIPTION

    IT Procurement manages all Global technology sourcing activities for Abercrombie & Fitch. The IT Assistant Analyst is a central point of contact within the IT source-to-pay process, facilitating fundamental supplier relationship processes and driving continuous improvements across those processes. We are looking for a naturally-curious self-starter with strong critical thinking skills who successfully demonstrates flexibility and agility in a fast-paced and dynamic, digitally-led environment. A person in this role must also be a relationship builder and be able to team up with others, as there are high levels of coordination required between business partners, stakeholders, and key strategic suppliers.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Engage in direct communication with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
    • Facilitate supplier onboarding and intake processes, including the third-party risk review for new suppliers
    • Develop and improve strategic vendor relationships through supplier performance management and scorecard process
    • Identify opportunities for enhanced supplier pay terms and/or incentives
    • Support category/portfolio administration and reporting
    • Contract administration and records management
    • Research and troubleshoot invoice and payment issues
    • Stay curious to improve existing processes and bring suggested plans to provide efficiencies
    • Integrate Supplier Diversity into all supplier engagement activities
  • Qualifications

    WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Superior customer service delivery, communicates in a highly effective, yet approachable manner; able to communicate with all levels of the business across the organization and the globe
    • Ability to execute tasks and meet critical deadlines in a thorough, poised, accurate, and timely manner, while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and often-changing environment
    • High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through, coupled with the flexibility to shift requirements and expectations, due to ever-changing needs of the business
    • A collaborative approach to work; builds strong partnerships with business partners
    • Self-motivated, self-starting, and creative thinker; shows resiliency in problem-solving
    • Ability to follow appropriate protocols to work with protected vendor data and maintain confidentiality
    • Openness to working alternate hours from time to time to accommodate time zone differences for Asia and Europe
    • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, structured environment
    • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners
    • Desire to learn & hunger for more
    • Prior exposure to the management of procurement process is a plus
