    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The A&F Co. Customer Intelligence team is responsible for fostering a culture of curiosity and providing the business with data-driven insight to inform strategies. The team represents the voice of the customer in business discussions and endeavors to understand the constantly evolving behaviors, values, attitudes, needs and wants of our customers.

    The Customer Researcher will provide insights and recommendations to drive the growth of the Abercrombie Kids brand. This person will execute discrete quantitative and qualitative research projects to inform all aspects of the brand. Based on demand and team capacity, this role may have the opportunity to support on research for the A&F adults' brands as well.

    What Will You Be Doing?

    • Be the in-house customer insights expert for the Abercrombie Kids brand and provide as needed support for the A&F adult's brand
    • Inform business actions based on customer insights gleaned from primary and secondary research
    • Recruit and manage Abercrombie Kids customer research participants for projects
    • Project manage research initiatives inclusive of writing briefs, designing methodologies, fielding/moderating (quant and qual) and synthesizing actions/recommendations
    • Support action-driving discussions with brand stakeholders
    • Partner with the broader Customer Research Team to support cross-branded research initiatives

    What Do You Need to Bring?

    • 1-2 years' experience in a customer/marketing research, analytics, product management, or other related experience role. Retail, apparel or consumer goods experience is a plus
    • BA/BS in a research, communications, marketing, psychology, sociology, economics or other research or marketing related major
    • Whole brain thinking- comfortable speaking to (and knowing the difference between) strategy and tactics, deft at integrating quant and qual data to communicate insights
    • Able to drive projects to conclusion and work effectively with and influence a variety of cross functional partners from various levels within the company
    • Self-starter, resourceful and independent
    • Excellent communication skills and strong project management capabilities
    • Creative approach to problem solving with a humble, team-oriented, and optimistic attitude
    • Proven leadership experience and ability to thrive in team-based settings
    • Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships
    • Passion for our customer, retail, and the A&F Co. portfolio of brands
