Associate Resource Group (ARG) Manager - A&F Co.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Associate Resource Group (ARG) Manager is responsible for supporting the development and mobilization of our ARG strategy, initiatives, programs, and partnerships. Primary responsibilities include program management oversight and supporting ARG governance and operational improvements to advance associate engagement and inclusion. You will partner to develop, support, and administer the daily operations of special projects, events, engagements, and core programming for the ARGs. This person will be working closely with cross functional team members to foster awareness about A&F Co. diversity priorities.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus,Ohioand reports into the head of Inclusion & Diversity. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Organize, facilitate, and support operations of key ARG initiatives, events, and activities
Provide oversight, guidance, and support to ARG leadership and subcommittees ensuring collaboration, communication, and participation
Manage annual ARG calendar and budget ensuring program alignment with overall business priorities and I&D strategy
Develop and recommend materials, resources, toolkits, and new tools to support associate engagement initiatives across ARGs (e.g., marketing collateral, toolkits, onboarding information, reporting templates, surveys etc.)
Administer processes to ensure success of the ARG infrastructure
Support and advance the ARG model; expand ARG initiatives to scale
Develop synergies within the I&D Team and HR to produce best practices and standardization of operations and guidance where necessary
Collaborates with HR COEs and HRBPs to leverage the ARG’s impact on attraction, development, and engagement of diverse talent
Conduct ongoing research and stay current on diversity, equity & inclusion, employee engagement and ARG best practices
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
All levels of education open for consideration - Degree(s) not required
5+ years of corporate experience in diversity, engagement, HR or equivalent experience
Previous experience working withor serving on corporate diversity resource groups
Exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable facilitating and speaking to various size audiences and leader levels
Ability to build strong relationships
Strong project management and organization skills
Event planning and program management skills preferred
Understanding of key diversity engagement metrics and can draw compelling insights from data analytics
Ability to listen and understand the needs of internal/external stakeholders and in turn develop thoughtful solutions
