Are you a current college student in an Information Technology program? The QUALITY ASSURANCE - SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS INTERN will work with the QA Lead and QA Manager to learn the overall development process and work within a team to execute testing on projects, report testing results and contribute to the overall software delivery quality. To accomplish this, the QA INTERN will learn the business processes and systems to determine the impacts of changes and if they meet requirements.

This position is located on-site at the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate office in Hartland, WI, as part of our Information Technology team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the design, creation, and execution of test cases.
• Assist teams with manual functional and regression testing as needed for enterprise applications.
• Analyze, interpret, and summarize test results and metrics and communicate to appropriate teams.
• Create test data needed to execute tests.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, forecast and coordinate testing activities.
• Track testing progress and report failed tests as bugs in Azure DevOps.
• Work closely with development, management, and operations to ensure defects are resolved properly.
• May work on an agile scrum team which includes participating in scrum ceremonies including daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Other projects and duties as assinged

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in an Information Technology related college degree program

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, hours of the position may vary based on needs
• Detail-oriented
• Prior experience testing software applications
• Experience with software development
