Graphic Design Intern Department: Marketing Location: Tampa, FL Graphic Designer Internship We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and hard-working intern who has the ability to understand the vision of the stakeholders, think creatively, be proactive and communicate clearly. He/she must also be able to work collaboratively as a team. This Internship position will give you a first-hand experience in creating graphics or simply putting across ideas that help evolve our brand. You will be provided with challenging projects and performance feedback that helps you develop your skills. You will be working directly with the Creative Director and the Marketing Team. Qualified candidates will be in their 3rd or 4th year of pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or something similar. Key Responsibilities Assist the marketing team with a variety of print and digital communications projects including new business presentations, social content creation, infographics, marketing materials, motion graphics, icons, and branding. Works closely with the Creative Director and assists her with all the on-going projects. Graphic Design and Media Intern Essential Responsibilities: * Design print and digital collateral including flyers, brochures, postcards, website graphics, digital campaign initiatives and supporting the Creative Director * Assist with video production * Assist with website updates * Detail oriented * Self-Motivated * Ability to effectively communicate orally (in person and by telephone) and in writing Graphic Design and Media Intern Required Skills and Experience: * Expertise in design software; Specifically: Illustrator, Photoshop. InDesign, Canva * Familiarity with HTML and WordPress is a plus * Communications industry experience is a plus * Bonus points for familiarity with video production and editing Required Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited university obtaining a degree with at least one semester or a quarter into the program looking for an internship to jumpstart your career
