Description: The Benefits and Retirement Analyst is a key member of the Total Rewards team and is responsible for providing day-to-day and support for on-going 401(k) administration, 401(k) funding, and escalated participant issues. In addition, this role will administer the relocation program, Educational Assistance and invoicing for the HR department. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for all internal financial reconciliation of 401(k) employer/employee contributions, working collaboratively with the third-party administrator and the companys payroll, HRIS, finance, and legal groups. Analyze 401(k) vendor performance through trends, statistics, associate feedback and quality assurance testing where applicable. Provide field HR and associates with 401(k) customer service support and subject matter expertise as needed Identify issues or trends that require intervention; interact with administration vendor to monitor and resolve issues requiring correction and or remediation, customer service or service delivery issues. Work with Labor and the 401(k) vendor to ensure clear execution of contract language as it pertains to company-sponsored 401(k) benefits for union associates. Provide support for 401(k) special projects (e.g. annual audits, acquisitions, plan changes, plan mergers) as well as implementing plan or vendor changes. Manage the administration of the Relocation program with vendor. Administer the overall Education Assistance program for the company. Manage the invoicing for the HR department. Support the Total Rewards team with benefit or retirement escalations and processes as needed. Position Requirements: Required Qualifications BA or BS required, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics or Economics. 1-3 years of related retirement plan or HR experience preferred. 1-2 years of vendor management preferred. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong analytical, problem identification and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact positively with internal customers and internal business partners. Excellent customer advocacy skills. Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong results/goal orientation while meeting deadlines.
